“VESP SESSION” was held at the special course at the bottom area of Maruyama Slope today, the last day of this season! About 70 participants got together around 9:30 a.m. and started the session just like the actual one, before the opening ceremony. VESP exhibition and ACADEMY test-riding were held at the Wood Deck in Central Plaza 1130.

The opening ceremony was started at 10:15 a.m., three guest riders, Mr. Jeff Harvey, Ms. Maiko Matsuda, and Mr. Masato Chiba, gave speeches. Then, the jam session started, using wide boxes and PVCs on the special course. Ollie Style Contest and SKATE GAME will start at 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., respectively, after the lunch break.

A rider prize and a special prize will be given to men’s and women’s overall winner. And the participants were getting excited from the beginning of the session. Jabara, rails, boxes, and rainbow rails were also prepared in the course. People were allowed to enter and enjoy them in the free time.

It was a nice warm day and I felt hot to wear ski jackets and gloves. The corn snow was nicely firm at Kurosawa in the early morning. 5-A, which opened at 8:30, was soft and comfortable to ski. We sincerely thank you for your visit to Kashimayari Ski Resort this season. We are looking forward to your visit in the next winter!!
