“We regularly check your reports! We come to Hakuba to snowboard every weekend. It’s a shame we couldn’t enjoy powder snow yesterday. We had work.”, three snowboarders coming from Yamanashi Prefecture said. It was sunny but windy in the top area. Gondola and lift service was temporarily suspended due to the hard wind. (*5 lifts in operation as of 10:59 am)

Powder snow was moderately packed on South Slope. By the way, we have the “2020~2021 16th iwatakestyle” event on Instagram. It’s a replacement event for “IWATAKE STYLE FUNRIDE JAM (Iwa-sta)”, which is held in DC PARK every year. Applications started on Feb.16 (Fri).

Groomed powder snow was nicely soft on East Slope. I enjoyed carving turns, getting my skis on edges. Snow was packed powder in the upper area, while it was wet in the lower area on Sunny Valley Course. Meanwhile, snow was moderately loose and wet on Paradise Slope.
