Hakuba Norikura / ◎290cm / Snow2019.Jan.29

19012905_hakunoriThe heavy snow from yesterday afternoon weakened as it became this morning, but the snow continued to rain. One of the visitor who were in the long line before the start of operation at the 10th pair lift station gave a word “I’m always watching the Snownavi! Snow has accumulated today”. And He posed with several people.

19012902_hakunoriThe snow accumulation amount of Sky View Slope is about 70 cm! Although I felt the weight of the snow slightly, the feeling of floating was preeminent. and the snow spray came up to the height of my head if I turn. Powder snow faded out quickly, then powder snow enthusiasts headed for the self-responsibility area of the next target.

19012903_hakunoriThe Kamoshika course (photo right) is a skiiers left stomped with a width of about 2 snow grromers, a moderately soft and slippery condition with a fresh snow about 5 cm. Many people entered the slope of non compacted snow at the bottom of the ski area, Snake Course and Expert Course (photo left).

19012904_hakunoriWakakuri Central Slope and Wakakuri Rinkan Course, non compacted snow area of Satomi Central Slope was also “moderately soft ground + fresh snow about 5 cm”. The fresh snow 30-40 cm in the non compacted snow area of the Satomi Central Slope was rather heavy, so no one entered the area except for those going to Cortina.
