The hazy sky of the spring spread out this morning. The slopes of Route 5 and 6 were a little hard in the early time, but were very flat, so I could make turns as I imagined. I would like to ski there again and again before the slopes got rough.

It was getting warmer and warmer and blowing no wind. The beginning part of Route 1 was nicely firm and it was getting softer as I skied down. There were some experts skiing down with high speed and climbed up by Line-C.

“I enjoy your reports in the break time during my work! I came skiing to HAKUBA VALLEY already 4－5 times”, a family from Toyama said to me. At around 8:45 a.m, the slopes of Route 5 and 6 got slushy and nicely soft.

The lower part of Route 1 was also slushy in the sunshine. Some parts in the shades were nicely firm. The feel of snow were very different depending on the sunshine.
