The wet snow was falling lightly and the trees were covered in white at Alps Daira. There was about 10 cm of fresh snow on the non-groomed area. I didn’t feel chilly because there was no wind and the temperature was high.
[Panorama Course]
The granular snow was nicely melting at the groomed Panorama and Grand Prix Course and covered with 1-2cm of wet new snow. My skis were ran well and I enjoyed skiing fast comfortably.
[Grand Prix Course]
The clouds, that were stagnated at the lower area, started to rise from 8:50 a.m.. However, it was so thin that it didn’t disturb the riding at Alps Daira and Champion Dynamic Course. Champion Dynamic Course was groomed earlier so about 5 cm of new snow covered the flat & soft slope.
[Grand Prix Course]
As I skied down, the fog got thicker and the snow changed into sleet. The slope was wet & soft and I could make turns comfortably. However, most of the people were running slowly because the visibility was really poor. As I reached the lower area of Powder Snow Course, I finally went under the clouds.
