Cortina / ○420cm / Sunny2022.Feb.26
Now, the officially announced amount of snow reaches over 400cm deep in the upper part and around 300cm deep in the lower part. I climbed up for 20 minutes beyond a high snow wall and on the deep snow which was over my knees from the parking area (Photo) to take this picture. It was a brilliant sunny day without winds today, so I already got sweaty on my back even before starting to ski.

I saw many people taking pictures of the Northern Alps in the south from the top of Ippon-matsu Course before riding. I met Mr. Zama as known as Zamaaan (Photo) who is the owner of Mura no Kajiya (Blacksmith in Village) and he said, “Good morning!” He showed us sharp and smooth turns on the nicely firm groomed slope.

A snowboarder from Shizuoka Prefecture (Photo) gave me the greeting, “I always check your reports! Your website of Snownavi greatly helps me to decide where to go snowboarding thanks to your detail information!” Around 20 meter width of Itadaira Course was groomed today and the surface of the slope already started to melt because of the strong sunlight.

A couple also said, “We always enjoy your reports! We met you last year and were took photos by you! Very happy to meet you, Snownavi, on our last day before going back to Kyoto!” The groomed slopes of Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course and Ikenota (Photo) were nicely firm today.
