Cortina / ○260cm / Light Snow2021.Jan.18
The snow had calmed down since last night, and dry fluffy snow was falling this monring. I felt refreshed in a winter wonderland in Hiedayama One (Ridge) Course (pictured), whilch leads to steep slope of Hiedayama2 (Gradient; Max. 42°, Ave. 36°) and Hiedayma 3 ( Gradient; Max. 39°, Ave.27°).

The new snow was about 15 cm deep. I saw some snowboarders riding tree runs, attracted by the soft snow covered with fluffy powder snow. There was also about 15 cm of new snow on the ungroomed soft snow on Hiedayama Course 1 and Itadaira Course.
[Tree Area]
The cold air mass brought snow for the last two days. The upper area of Ikenota Slope was covered with powdery snow. The snow was not powder but nicely packed on Ipponmatsu Course. I saw some snowballs on the path but I did not mind.
[Ipponmatsu Course]
I skied smoothly down the groomed powder run of Hiedayamar Rinkan Course (pictured). For your information, only No.1 Pair Lift, No.2 Quad Lift, No.4 Pair Lift, and No.6 Pair Lift service will be operated for a while in Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort.
