Cortina / △135cm / Sunny & Cloudy2020.Mar.12

20031201_cortinaThe official snow coverage at the top of the ski area is still 135cm, but today the Hakuba Cortina ski area will be closed this season. After finishing the winter work in Hakunori, a staff member said, “I’m always watching! Today I’m on the last day of Cortina .”

20031202_cortinaDue to the snowfall last night, the large bumps on Hieda Ⅰ had about 15 cm of fresh snow. The first one can be enjoyed with the feeling of being “fuzzy”, with spurs entering and becoming rough. A student from Osaka told me, “I’m always watching! I’ve been staying with my family since the day before yesterday.”

20031204_cortinaHieda forest Course, where the hoarfrost spreads, is a condition in which wet snow is moderately softly pressed and the board runs smoothly. A local resident of Otari Village said, “I’m always watching! No way, it will end so soon. I’ll send you a mountain climbing report from tomorrow and enjoy the nearby backcountry.” Thank you for reading this report again this season. See you on the slopes next season!
