It was a beautiful day today. Trees were covered with rime, which was romantic. “It was snowing hard when I finished work last night.”, a staff member said. The top and middle parts were covered with about 25 cm of fresh snow. Hiedayama Rinkan Course was firmly compacted and nice.

I headed for Hiedayama Rinkan Course1 to enjoy powder snow. (See the photo.) It was hard to control my skis in the 25 cm of heavy fresh snow. The slope was rough with ski trails and I went down carefully not to lose control. “I enjoy your reports.”, a snowboarder, who was the first to arrive, said.

Ipponmatsu Course was firmly compacted and nice. Meanwhile, about 15 cm of soft fresh snow was non-compacted on the sides. “We enjoy your reports. Both compacted and non-compacted parts of Ipponmatsu Course were nice in the early morning.”, a couple from Aichi said.
[Ikenota Slope]
Ikenota Slope was wide, flat and nicely firm. Many people arrived late today as it was a weekday after the three-day holiday. Ski trails were left for a while on Ikenota Slope.
