Cortina/ △90cm / Sunny2019.Dec.28

19122801_cortinaToday, Hakuba Cortina ski resort business has started!  With the announcement of the opening on the morning of the day, the number of visitors in the second quad at 8:30 was less for the first day of the year-end and New Year holidays.  The northward wind, which was blowing strongly in the early morning, subsided, and it was a season in with comfortable weather amid the light sunshine.

19122802_cortinaThe 2nd, 4th and 3rd pairs of quads move and you can slide on the Ikenota slope, Hieda Forest course, Mt.Hieda 1 course 1 lower part (※ upper part is closed), and Ipponmatsu course.  Those who lined up in the 4th pair who started moving at 9 o’clock received many voices such as “I always watch!” “Congratulations on the season!”

[Fourth Pair Stop]

19122803_cortinaHieda forest course is moderately tight and slippery (no bush etc.).  At the lower part of Mt.Hieda 1, the scattered grass and bush did not hinder the slide, and we could enjoy the fluffy fresh snow of about 50 cm.  After being filled with spurs (photo), it was still heavy but soft.

[Hiedayama course 1]

19122804_cortinaAt around 9:30, the Ikenota slope was very popular, especially for children taking kids lessons.  There was some grass, but the soft fresh snow was flat and the barn was spacious and slippery.
