The soft sunshine and the chilly air was nice this mornig. I was impressed by the trees covered with rime at the upper area when I was on No.4 Pair Lift. I enjoyed skiing down the soft compacted Hiedayama slope, seeing the rime and feeling powder snow.

Snowflakes sometimes whirled around on the gentle wind around 9:30. I enjoyed gaining speed on the firm, compacted Rabbit Course. It was great that my skis were not stuck at the non-compacted area on the sides as it was covered with dry snow.

“We enjoy your report. The quality of snow is great!”, a snowboarder coming from Aichi Prefecture with his colleagues said. They then dashed through the snow on Ikenota Slope, which was wide, flat and nicely soft.

People slid down Tree Area one after another after they got off No.4 Pair as the snow was nicely soft there. ”Please be very careful”, a ski patroller said as it is all at your own risk.
