The southerly wind was blowing under the heavy sky and I felt chilly this morning. The granular snow was groomed nicely soft at Ipponmatsu Course. Small snowflakes started fell with the wind around 8:40 a.m..

No.4 Pair started working on time, while Mt. Hieda Ridge, Mt. Hieda 2 & 3 were closed due to bad conditions. No.5 Pair didn’t work either, so three courses, Giant, Itadaira Ridge, and Itadaira Forest, were not opened. Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course was groomed firmly and my skis ran well. I enjoyed gaining speed even at the gentle slope.

Sometimes there was a strong cold wind blowing at the beginning of Itadaira Course. However, I didn’t mind the wind when I was skiing. The granular snow was nicely firm and it got softer as I skied down. The edges of skis worked well, and I enjoyed making turns.
[Itadaira Course]
Ikenota Slope was crowded with biginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The granular snow was nicely soft and I could ski comfortably. After that snow started to fall harder. The wind got stronger around noon, and the No.3 Quad stopped for a while.
