This is a photo from Cortina Sports Day which was held at Kids Park from 1 p.m. on Mar. 3 (Sat). I felt comfortable without jackets because the temperature was high. It was the “best” day for the event. It started with obstacle race for children. As they crossed the mat and went through the net and the arch, they finally reached snacks hung on the rope.

At the family tubing race, either father or mother put their child on the tube and ran out around the set-up course. Some staffs also joined instead of parents who were not confident in their physical strength. At goal area, the race was finished as children got snacks that were hanging on the rope and they crossed the finish line.

Participants were divided into either red or blue team and enjoyed the ball-toss game. As the children started tossing balls all at once as the signal was given, parents took photos or movies around them. The blue team won today, however, both team members got prizes at the end.

The last event was a treasure hunt. As they found red, blue, or green strings on the snow surface and show them to a staff, they got prizes according to the string’s color. The athletic event is going to be held from 1 p.m. on Mar.10 (Sat) and 17 (Sat) as well. A numbered ticket is required to join in the obstacle race and the family tubing race. You can get a ticket at Patrol Station from 9 a.m. on the day.
