Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday from Aug. 8 (Sun) to Aug. 15 (Sun), every weekend from Sep. 18 (Sat) to Nov. 14 (Sun) and on Sep. 20 (Mon), 30 minutes earlier than usual. This morning, the peaks of the Northern Alps were behind the clouds, but we had a beautiful day with the blue sky.

The park gets busy from the early time even on weekdays because the summer vacation started in Japan. At HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR, people were likely to choose seats in shades to avoid the strong sunlight. It was very comfortable to walk around the beech forest behind this building thanks to the tree shades and weak south winds.

Every course of Hakuba Iwatake MTB PARK was in dry condition. By the way, you can enjoy Komorebi Trail, Mountain Cycling and E-BIKE Course with the rental E-bikes (JPY1,000 per 30 minutes, including a helmet). On Aug. 8 (Sun), “SDS SUPER DUAL SLALOM” will be held here.

At the lawn area in front of Sky Ark, “Hakuba Deli BBQ Garden” is held every day from Aug. 7 (Sat) to Aug. 15 (Sun) and on weekends and holidays until Nov. 14 (Sun). Stove, table, chairs and foods will be prepared, so you can enjoy barbecue empty-handed. You can make a booking on the website now.
