The last day of October was blessed with a fine autumn day. The panoramic view from HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR was fantastic though the cloud covered the Northern Alps an hour after open at 8:30 a.m.. Although it was a weekday, the harbor was crowded with many people like a weekend who came to see the mountain scenery.

The autumn leaves at the top of Mt. Iwatake was later half of the season. The leaves are started to fell, and the trail in the forest was covered with fallen leaves. In search of vivid colors, I went to the “Neko no Mori”. After passing the Azumaya in the middle of the course, the number of trees dyed yellow and red increased (photo), and my mood increased.

I enjoyed walking quietly while cutting out my favorite scenery. The maple (photo) dyed in red was particularly eye-catching and increased the number of times the shutter was pressed. People larger amount than usual, was passing while signed a “Hello.” Many times.

The weak wind that blows from time to time shakes the branches and scatters the leaves. The root of this forest was covered with fallen leaves, but it was a bit muddy and difficult to walk. The autumn leaves go down the mountain day by day, and the darkest colors are from the base to the middle.

I bought coffee and cookies at THE CITY BAKERY and wanted to spend time relaxing on the forest terrace at the top of the mountain, feeling the sunbeams. Today was around 10 o’clock, + 15 ° C. It was warm for this time and was just cheerful to spend outside.
