The weather was unstable during the Obon holidays but first weekend after Obon holidays was sunny. The temperature was dropped from Aug. 17 (Fri) and it was 18°C, and wind was blowing weakly from south-east and it was comfortable. In front of Sky Arc was started to crowd from 9:30 a.m..

Hybrid lilies were in full bloom along Beech Forest Walking Trail. White, yellow and pink flowers were blooming here and there, and flowers smell sweet when I went near. The shade of trees was very comfortable and sunshine through the leaves was also nice.

Because the temperature was dropped, and I had an enjoyable time in Yahoo Deck (in photo). I enjoyed the country view of Hakuba Village, and the Northern Alps in the west.

White and pink Cleome were in full bloom in front of Yahoo Deck. Lilies in the south slope were almost finished and when I looked down MTB course Japanese pampas grass were swinging in the air, and I felt the autumn is coming soon.

Many people were enjoying downhill course of Hakuba Iwatake MTB Park. For information, three events, “Aki Green Cup“, “Nagano Coffee Festival” and “Hakuba AKI NATSU FES” will be held on next weekend, Aug. 25 (Sat) and 26 (Sun). For this reason, all the MTB courses will be closed (* Gondola will open.)
