We were in the clouds during on Alpen Quad, but the blue sky spread out in the upper part of Grat Quad. It was overcast in the east and the sunlight was blocked off sometimes. After a few days from the start of autumn tint season in Tsugaike, the trees started to change the color gradually in Happo.

The cloud were getting high fast, so I hurried to Happo-ike Pond. Although today was a weekday, but there were many hikers and mountaineers from the early morning.

In Boardwalk Coutse, I saw red leaves of Nanakamado, yellow and orange Mizunara. I saw people taking pictures of those beautiful trees during trekking. After 9:15 a.m, the sun was often covered with clouds.

Around Happo-ike Pond, the autumn tints had proceeded greatly. I guess that the peak of autumn tints will come on this weekend, Sep. 30 (Sat) and Oct. 1 (Sun).

When we did not have the sunlight, we felt a little cold because of the wind blowing along the ridge. The grass autumn tints in the south face of Happo was good now and the view with the fog was fantastic. In the Kamaike Marsh, the autumn tints are in the peak.
