First Snow on Northern Alps
The cold weather pattern brought the first snow on the ridges of the Northern Alps such as Mt. Yarigatake (3,180m), Tateyama Murodo (2,450m), Mt. Goryu (2,814m) and Mt. Hakuba (2,932m).

In addition to that, the first snow was found on Mt. Hakkodasan (1,584m), Mt. Iwaki (1,625m) by Aomori Meteorological Office and on Mt. Iwate (2,038m) by Morioka Meteorological Office.
