It started to snow late last night and it was still snowing around 8:30 a.m. The non-groomed snow was covered with 3–4 cm of fresh snow in the top area. I saw corduroy patterns covered with a thin layer of fresh snow in the groomed snow area of Tsuga-no-mori Slope. I could enjoye the turns in the firm granular snow using edges.

The groomed granular snow felt nicely firm in Gotenba Course. “We always enjoy your report! We’ve been here since April 2 (Thu). This is the last day in Hakuba.”, a snowboarder coming from Kanto area with his family said.

It was like winter as the trees were all white covered with frost. The snow was nicely firm along Han-no-ki High-Speed Pair Lift, too. Every item was in good condition in TG PARKS and I saw many snowboarders hitting kickers.

“This is our first time snowboarding here. Ski resorts are already closed in our hometown, so we’re surprised this much snow.”, a couple coming from Ishikawa prefecture said. The southerly wind kept blowing today. Visibility sometimes turned white because of the fog past 9 a.m.
