Tsugaike Ropeway started early spring operation today on February 22 (Sat), which was 10 days earlier than last season! You need a ropeway ticket other than a lift ticket. (※ One-way Adult 760 yen, Child 380 yen). It is also required to submit a mountain climbing registration and to take a mountain course, which is 1~2 minutes long.
[Tsuga-no-mori Slope]
It was snowing in Tsuga-no-mori Slope and the area along Hannoki High-speed Pair this morning while the suns shined. Meanwhile, it was drizzling in the lower area of Hannoki (pictured). The granular snow was hard along Hannoki High-speed Pair with some snowballs scattered around the area. Meanwhile, the granular snow was getting loose in the middle and lower area of Hannoki.

The snow started to melt in the middle and lower area as it was warm between February 19 (Wed) and 21 (Fri). The ground was uncovered with snow and the bushes were exposed in some parts of One Course (pictured), which leads from Hannoki, Sawa Course and Shirakaba Slope. It was difficult to skirt them.

“2020-21 NEW MODEL POWDER & Heel Free Trial Session” is held in front of Yuki-no-Hiroba today and tomorrow, hosted by Dreamgate. You can find new 4FRNT, ARMADA, BLASTRACK, K2, LINE, OGASAKA, etc. skis there. The snow is melting in Kane-no-naruoka Slope, where live cameras are stationed around the area. Meanwhile, there is still sufficient snow in Oyanohara Slope.
