Tsugaike Kogen / ×1cm / Light snow2019.Nov.08
Today, Novermber 8 (Wed) was the first day of winter called “Ritto”, in the traditional Japanese calendar. A cold air mass progressed south and it was chilly this morning. It was drizzling at the mountain foot at 7 a.m., while it was snowy at areas over 1,300 m high.

The mowed grass got gradually covered with snow at the upper area of Tsuga-no-mori, which is 1,680 m high at the top. It was quiet and I could only hear the sound of snow falling on my jacket.
