Tsugaike Kogen / △240cm / Sunny2019.Apr.21
Gray clouds spread out in the eastern sky and it was sometimes drizzling. Many people arrived late although it was Sunday and the slope was empty in the morning as if it had been a weekday. Granular snow was nicely loose on the compacted Tsuga-no-mori Slope, which was great.

My skis ran smoothly and I enjoyed gaining speed at Gotenba Rindo Course, which was a bit dirty but firmer than Tsuga-no-mori. There were few skiers/snowboarders and the snow condition was great from top to bottom.

TG PARK opened past 8 a.m. today. “We’re snowboarding mates. This is our second time in Tsugaike.”, snowboarders from Tokyo said. “We enjoy your reports!”, I also saw a skier from Itoigawa City and another from Matsumoto City. I appreciated everyone having a chat with me.

The compacted area along Hannoki High-speed Pair Lift was flat and loose without banked parts. AfterI passed by the sign for beginners, I entered into the middle area of Hannoki, which was compacted as widely as 1-3 pistens and nice. There was not much snow at the last area of Hannoki and I don’t think it will last until this weekend.
