19041801_tsugaikeIt has been beautiful days these days. I saw magnificent Ushiro Tateyama Mountain Ridge, including Hakuba Sanzan, without a spring haze. “The snow is soft but it’s nice for jumping. Why don’t you try?”, a digger at TG PARKS said.

19041802_tsugaike“I enjoy your reports. You know what? I have a bottle of beer in my backpack. It’s so heavy that I almost fell backward.”, a skier from Saitama said. Tsuga-no-mori Slope, which was thoroughly compacted, was getting loose and soft. It was granular and my skis ran smoothly.

19041803_tsugaikeThe area along Hannoki High-speed Pair Lift was loose too when it opened. My ski edges cut into the snow well and I enjoyed going down smoothly. The middle and last area of Hannoki was compacted as widely as three Pistens and nice. It was hot and I felt like taking off my gloves just after the first slide.

19041804_tsugaike“What the hell! It’s too hot here”, two snowboarders said, smiling. My skis sank into snow 7-8 cm deep on the last area of Hannoki, where the amount of snow was declining, when I was walking on the snow without my skis. I saw a “CLOSE” sign at the entrance of Karamatsu Slope.
