“Tsugaike Children’s Winter Festival” was held at the Kane-no-naru-oka slope from a.m.10:00. There were also things called “Ski Children’s Day” where elementary school student’s lift tickets became free, and a lot of parents and children were seen. Many children climbing up with a moving walkway on a free open “kids park”, I saw their sliding with sleds.

“Mochi-tsuki Festival on Snow” held in front of Tsugaike Park is popular enough to have waiting queue before it starts. The figure waving the pestle with children’s small body was very cute. A total of 10 kg of rice cake that was completed was made “Kinako-mochi” on the spot and was offered to visitors.

At a.m.11:00 started “Treasure Hunt on Snow”, all climb onto the special snowy mountain and look for black capsules with treasure. Those contained in the capsule were mainly toys such as toy cars, characters, small lights and the like. However, there were capsules containing cash such as JPY100 coin and JPY500 coin.

The large lottery was a prize of sweets center from Jumbo Guriko of the special prize to candy of 6th place. Mini “Ennichi” are JPY100 per toy pistle shooting one time. While the weather is recovering throughout the day, the snowy Kane-nonaru-oka slope is moderately soft and slippery.
