Tsugaike Kogen / ◎320cm / Snowy2018.Mar.08
“Good morning. We always enjoy your reports!”, a skier from Tokyo and an instructor of Tsugaike Ski School greeted me this morning. Today is the 2nd day of their private lesson and the student showed a smile when the instructor said, “She is getting much better.” At Tsugaike Ski School, you can take a private lesson for up to 4 people.

As the weather forecast said, it started to snow at 8:00 a.m. The slope of Tsuga-no-mori was very firm in this morning. However, it was groomed well, so I could ski comfortably on the fresh slope again and again until 9:00 a.m. when the slope got busy.

The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was in the similar condition. When I skied down to the middle part, the slope got softer. In the off-piste area, there were irregular bumps which were icy, so it was in difficult condition.

In Shirakaba, the surface got melted already and it has slushy feeling. However, the slope was nicely firm and I could make curving comfortably. It was not windy in the lower areas, but the snow was getting heavier and heavier as time passed.
