Tsugaike Kogen / ◎320cm / Sunny2018.Feb.27
The sky at the Northern Alps was covered with thin clouds but blue sky was spread in the east sky. The visitors turn out slow in Tsuga-no-mori, so the slope remained fresh even after 9 a.m. The slope was nicely firm and I could make turns as I imagined.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair (on photo) was hard. As I skied down to the middle area of the course, snow was melted and became soft corn snow.
[Han-no-ki]
The widely groomed Shirakaba was flat and the first half was hard. The snow started to melt from the last half of the course and I could ski comfortably. The course was not crowded due to weekdays, so I could ski freely.
[Shirakaba]
Snow got softer and wet as I skied down Shirakaba. Champion, almost same altitude to Shirakaba, was nicely firm and snow was not wet. Snow condition was changed due to altitude and the direction of the slope this morning. Tsuga-no-mori was the best among them!
