Tsugaike Kogen / ◎320cm / Snowy2018.Feb.17
When I got out of a gondola which started working from 8 a.m, it’s snowing heavily. The wind was blowing weakly in Han-no-ki but operation of Tsuga No.2 Pair was delayed because of the strong wind. Although it wasn’t cold in the base area, it was freezing at the top of the ski area.

10 cm fresh snow covered the nicely firm and flat Han-no-ki. The snow condition was perfect and blown up a lot when I made turns. Advanced riders enjoyed the run using Han-no-ki No.3 Quad and gondola and they skied down fast with shouting of joy.

The snow at the bottom of Han-no-ki was a little firm but 10 cm of fresh snow took a role as a cushion, which made it easy to ski. There was a good turnout since it’s weekend and Han-no-ki got many ski trails. However, I could make turns comfortably afterwards too since the snow was perfect.

The groomed slopes in Shirakaba got about 10cm of fresh snow. I skied comfortably on it. There were some hard bumps on the ungroomed area which also got same amount of snow.
