An annual event “Tsugaike Children’s Winter Festival” was held in Kane-no-naru-oka from 10 a.m. Kids Park was open for free and many families were playing sleds and tubes. The Kids Park was full the bright voices and smiles of children.

The small fair was also held at Tsugaike Grill, in front of Kids Park. Shooting game, quoits, basketball bingo was taking place for 100JPY. And soon after that parents were making line to get a ticket for “Treasure Hunting”.

The treasures were hidden inside a small snow moutain. “Treasure Hunting” was started from 11 a.m. and many children were searching for capsules. There were Rubik’s Cubes, dolls and walking robots inside capsules.

Mochitsuki (pound steamed rice) was also held in Tsugaike Park. Rice-cakes with soybean flour were served for free. The lottery in which people won many gifts was also held at Tsugaike Park.
