I met 60 members of JSKI Outdoor’s Club at Kane-no-naru-oka. All members were Chineses who live in Japan. They take place cosplay event once a year. The representative talked to us “We always enjoy your reports! It’s my first time to come to Tsugaike. It has wide slope, so it is easy to ski!”

Although the sun was shining weakly at 9:00 a.m., it snowed weakly. It got crowded at Han-no-ki, which was nicely firm and the shaved snow was on the surface. The skis ran fast, but I had to control the speed because there were many people.

Maruyama was same as Han-no-ki, but there was less shaved snow because there were fewer people. I could ski there comfortably. The slope at Karamatsu was moderately firm, so the skis ran fast. The families slid down the slope on a sled without stopping.

There were many beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders at Kane-no-naru-oka. The slope was in moderately firm condition, so it was good for practice. I saw some families skied there together.

*Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort will start 2017-18 Winter operation from late November, 2017 to May 6, 2018 (Depending on the snow).
