The wind didn’t blow and although dry snow fell, the sun was sometimes shining weakly between the clouds. Because the strong cold wave came again the snow is in a great condition.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
Tsuga-no-mori was groomed well and nicely firm. 1 cm of the fresh snow covered the slope, and it was in powder condition. The edge bit the snow well and I could make turns as I imagined. There were 5 cm of the fresh snow on the non-groomed areas at the sides.

The groomed Han-no-ki was entirely powdery from the top to bottom, same as Tsuga-no-mori. The slope was moderately firm and there were a little fresh snow, so it was in good condition to ski. In the morning, many people took gondola and Han-no-li No.3 Quad and skied down the long distance slope without stopping.

At 9:00 a.m. the snowfall got stronger. Maruyama was groomed nicely and covered with fresh snow and in a great condition! Rest Eden (260 seats) is the restaurant where we can see the ski slope through the big windows. They offer various kinds of food, such as curry with Otari Pork, bowl of rice and pasta.
