It had been snowing heavily since the last night. Even in this morning snow fell heavily at the upper part of the ski slope. 20-30cm of a little heavy fresh snow piled up on the non-groomed area at Tsuga-no-mori. The snowboarder from Mie prefecture talked to us “I always see your website” and went down.

In this morning, the snow was groomed into flat condition along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair. About 5cm of fresh snow was on the properly tight foundation. It was good to ski, but the visitors came late today and many of them went to Tsuga-no-mori for the fresh snow, therefore, there were few people at Han-no-ki.

The snowfall was about 20cm from the middle to the bottom part of Han-no-ki, so regrettably the slope remained closed in this morning. 3 players who are staying at Tsugaike in this season took a pose “Keep off to the closed course and the forbidden skiing area“ Of Course, they never entered!

We really expect for the expansion of the ski area. There seemed no bushes and mud at the upper part of Shirakaba. According to the weather forecast, it will snow until Dec 13 (Wed). The bottom part of the slope may be open in this week, depending on the snowfall.
