Tsugaike Kogen / △100cm / Snowy2017.Nov.25
Tsugaike ski area started the operation today! Since it has been snowing from yesterday, it is officially announced that the snow amount reached 100cm. Slopes along High Speed Pair are covered with 2~3cm fresh snow which was really soft and comfortable to ski.

By 9 o’clock, there were lots of people on the slopes. Yusuke Hukasawa and his family who run hotel at the foot of the mountain said good morning to me. He was qualified as a SAJ National Demonstrator in 2008, and he is now famous instructor of Tsugaike Ski school.

At 10:05 a.m, Tsuga-no-mori slope was open. For the time being, “JACKY’S kitchen” (Open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, former Cafeteria Tsuga-no-mori) is a only restaurant in the ski resort.

Although I expected to go down to the base area because it had been snowing so much, the middle and lower parts of Han-no-ki were closed all day. Central parking area located under the Gondola base station and Champion ski slope parking area were available now. The parking area located in front of Gondola middle station was supposed to be available but due to the heavy snow it was closed as well.
