In Snow Square by the gondola intermediate station, “2017-18 NEW MODEL POWDER & HEEL FREE TEST RIDING” is held today and tomorrow. In this event, powder skis and telemark skis can be rided and snowboards are also available.

The available blands of skis are 4FRNT, ARMADA, BLASTRACK, DPS, FACTION, K2, SKILOGIK and totally over 30!! There are over 10 brands of snowboards as well, such as BURTON, CAPITA, JONES, MOSS SNOWSTICK, YONEX. You can make an entry on the spot and the capacity is 100 people a day.

The slopes were very crowded with people in the snow. The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair and Shirakaba were groomed well and nicely firm. In the north run in lower Shirakaba, “Haglöfs Natural Freeriding Tsugaike” is held until tomorrow.

The groomed area of Tsuga-no-mori was a little hard and covered with thin fresh snow. The ungroomed areas were hard and bumpy. By the way, “The 44th Snow Festival”, one of the biggest night events in Hakuba, will held tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Kane-no-naru-oka!!
