It was so warm with the strong sunlight that even a little skiing made me feel hot around 10:00 a.m. Two skiers from the ski club of Shinshu Univ. gave the watcword, “We always enjoy your reports!” I saw they hardly practiced skiing after posing me.

However, the ungroomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori was firm and bumpy. The upper part of Han-no-ki was groomed well and edges of my skies worked well, so I could ski down comfortably.

While there were many experts in Tsuga-no-mori because the slope was in difficult condition, Han-no-ki was crowded with people from beginners to experts. After 10:00 a.m, Han-no-ki High Speed Pair had a line and it took 1－2 minutes to take the lift.

In spite of the warm weather and many ski tracks, the slope remained flat and in good condition. According to the weather forecast, it will be warm until Friday and a cold wave will come down from the north from Saturday. We hope the Christmas cold wave will bring us good snow.
