The pressure pattern gets typical of winter and the long-awaited snow has come!! The snow which had fallen until Nov. 16 (Wed) had melted away because of the warm weather, however, we can see snowfall in almost all of the ski area.

The snow amout of the upper parts of Shirakaba and Han-no-ki was about 1cm. It just started to snow around 8:00 a.m. The artificial snowing machines and roofs of buildings got to be covered with snow gradually.

The lower parts of the ski area, such as Shirakaba, Champion and Maruyama were also covered with thin snow. It was snowing lightly and cold well, so some of grass and trees were frozen over.

I found that Oya-no-hara, Karamatsu and Kane-no-naru-oka had also snowfall and it was sparkling in the soft sunlight this morning. This cold wave is forecast to stay until the noon on Nov. 24 (Thu). The good snow is expected eagerly tonight.
