Since the evening of Oct 29(Sat) it had been snowing which was second time in this season. Even though I could walk from the top of ropeway station to Tenguppara. On the east side of Mt. Hakuba-Norikura-dake, the ground was frozen and really slippery so it was dangerous to walk through. The trees were white with surrounded by ices.

Today is the last day of Tsugaike Panorama Way in Summer season. Tsugaike-kogen Ski resort will be available on Nov. 19(Sat), though it depends on the amount of the snow. The winter season will start soon. The strong winter wind was blowing hard and made ripples on the surface of Hakuba Oike.

The snow on the east side was wet and melting but there was still powder snow around Hakuba Oike. Every time winds blew, snows danced in the air and it created a skovla on the ground. Some climbers heading to Mt. Hakuba-dake seemed that they were satisfied with beautiful snow scenes.

From the foot of Hakuba-sanzan, it did not look like it had any snows. However I definitely could see the snow scene on north face of the moutains. When I was about to go back, the snow was almost melting because the sunlight was strong and the heat of the ground.
