On Dec. 17 (Sat), Tangram Ski Circus has been open as scheduled! Three lifts, No.1, No.3 and No.5 are available now and main 5 slopes including Heartland Line are open. It got fine and the blue sky spread out, but the ski area is facing the northern west, so I felt colder than the actual temperature, -3 degrees.

The sunlight did not come into the slopes until 10:00 a.m, so the snow remained in good condition as well as in the early morning. This morning, the slopes were firm, so we could enjoy high speed skiing. When the sunlight was cast, small snow balls were made in the lower part of Heartland Line.
[Queens Downhill]
The upper part of Primary Line was nicely firm. The lower part was a little hard but groomed well, so I could ski down comfortably even in the steep run. During skiing, I could see Mt. Myoko and Mt. Kurohime from the slope.
[Primary Course]
I found more and more families coming around 11:00 a.m. In front of Hotel Tangram, you can experience snow rafting. It takes you about 1.5 kilometer round course with high speed. The guests showed smiles with the thrilling activity.
