Kurohime Kogen / ◎150cm / Snowy2022.Jan.13
The snow started to fall from the morning and got heavier and heavier as time passed. A mother of a family from Fukuoka Prefecture (Photo) said, “I came back to Nagano City, my hometown, and visit here. This kids park in Kurohime has a great variety of snow items, so I decided to come here.”

The central part of Shirakaba was groomed and nicely soft. In the off-piste areas of Shirakaba Course (Photo) and Lerch Course, there was even 45-50cm deep fresh snow! It was slightly heavy and wet, but we could still enjoy the feel of floating.

The groomed slopes of Cosmos Course (Photo), Shinanoki Course and Karamatsu Course (4th Photo) were also in a good condition and nicely soft as well as Shirakaba Course. The slopes were not busy because today was a weekday in January, so the corduroy patterns on the slopes got hidden by the snow falling, not the ski tracks….

The snow was still getting stronger toward the noon. An instructor (Right on Photo) and his
trainee of Kurohime Snowboarding School talked, “Hi, happy to meet you and thank you for your report! At our school, we support you to improve your snowboarding skills and enjoy riding more!”
