December 14th (sat) We are finally grand opening from 8am!!! from 7th (sat) there wasnt enough fresh snow then we were worried but officially amount of snow is 40cm. it is 10cm more than last year. sunny and carm day. we could see Kashimayarigatake(right 2889m) and Jiigatake(left 2670m) from Kurosawa slope.

‘SHIMASHIKA opening run’ at 8am. we did countdown with Shimashika , visitors and staff. after the countdown they slowly started 400m opening run at steep slope (max 17° avelage 14°) after that all visitors were free and a lot of visitors were spinning around.

The Kurosawa slope was compacted. The condition was tight and edge bite well. Didn’t see any bush in the slope . I could turns safely. It wasn’t busy right after the opening but getting busier around 9am.

9am the 2nd pair chair lift wasn’t crowded. We could get on in a minute. From 11am SHIMASHIKA joined a event of balloon release. There were free 100 drink vouchers. “The 2nd pair chair lift” , “rental shop in central plaza1130” , “kiosuku “ and “red cedar restaurant “ are now open.
