Light snowfall from last night was stopped at around 8 a.m. and it became brighter as the sun started to shine through break in the clouds. The light fresh snow covered the groomed Ippon-buna Downhill Course and I enjoyed making turns feeling soft powder snow under the skis.

Course 1-A was groomed nicely soft and covered with 5 cm fresh snow. The skis were running and the edges bit snow well. Operation of No.3 Quad was delayed because of mechanical inspection. So, Course 1-A was crowded with beginners and elementary school students taking lessons and the course was covered with many ski tracks soon.

The clouds started to rise after 9 a.m. and the sunlight is blocked. The snow condition was perfect this morning and many people were trying the steep bumpy slope of Course 5-B & C.

A lady from Matsumoto City gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” The groomed Kurosawa was in great condition and I could ski easily. Many people were skiing at Ippon-buna Downhill Course using No.6 Quad again and again even after 9:30 a.m.
