Kashimayari / ◎150cm / Cloudy & Sunny2017.Mar.17
When the lifts started working, clouds were racing from north to south sky, and the sun was continuing to appear and disappear between the clouds. Course 1-A was groomed beautifully and nicely firm. I could enjoy skiing with speed.
[Course 1 : Tomi Grand View A]
The slope was not so crowded, and it remained flat for a long time. Around 9:30, the sun was started to shine brightly and temperature was rising and the surface of snow had melted a little, which made it easier for beginners to ski & snowboard at Kashima.
[Course 3: Kashima]
Since the clouds kept gathering in the western sky, the ridges of Kashima-yarigatake or Jiigatake were kept covered. Kurosawa Slope was nicely firm and I could make turns comforatbly. Two people from Saitama Pref. snowboarded down with smart turns, after taken pictures.
[Kurosawa]
The north faced slope of Ipponbuna Downhill Course at the beginning was also nicely firm. We had to be careful when we ski down middle part, where skier’s right was in the shade and skier’s left was in the sun, because condition of the slope was different. The slope of Nakatsuna was slushy corn snow and it made me slow down.
