Jiigatake / ◎160cm / Sunny2022.Feb.12

22021201_jigatake“I check your website regularly! I’ve got a season pass this year!”, a snowboarder coming from Tokyo said (pictured). “What? Are you visiting Jiigatake from Tokyo?”, I asked, then “Here’s the best place to practice carving.”, he said.

22021202_jigatakeIt was a beautiful sunny weekend. All courses were blanketed with packed powder snow as we had heavy snow due to the low-pressure pattern located south of Japan’s central coast on Feb. 10 (Thu). There were many beginners on Eco Slope. Meanwhile, there were many intermediate and advanced skiers/snowboarders climbing up by No.3 Pair (669 meters) on Rabbit and Raicho Course.

22021203_jigatake“This is our first visit to Jiigatake. We love here because the courses are great, the snow is wonderful, but the resort is not crowded.”, four snowboarders coming from Ina City, Nagano Prefecture said (pictured). It’s just as they said! Jiigatake has nice, quiet courses.

22021204_jigatakeWet snow was flatly packed on the south-facing Kids Park. “I asked my daughter (pictured) to get on Troika, but she loves going up on her own. I’m drenched in sweat.”, a lady coming from Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture said.
