We didn’t have snow after the heavy snow between Dec 3 (Tue) and 6 (Fri). However, we have had snow again since yesterday. HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR and Iwatake Gondola started operation today (※ 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.).The rime was fantastic at Gondola Sanroku Station.

In addition to HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR and Iwatake Gondola, Ticket Center, Information Center, Noah Shop, Skyark (※only restroom), Iwatake-no-yu (※1 p.m. – 8 p.m.) at Gondola Sanroku Station also opened. There was the sweet scent of bread from THE CITY BAKERY at MOUNTAIN HARBOR.

The snow stopped and the first day was blessed with beautiful weather. The white Hakuba three mountains and frost on the ground was amazing. It was chilly in the morning with the temperature at -4℃, however, it was nice without wind. I had a great time and I did not realize time.

The construction of “SKYARK CAFE”, which started after the summer period, was completed. You can enjoy food, such as hot dogs using Hakuba Ham and borscht using Shinshu local vegetable, as well as beverage, such as Hakuba original beer made by “T.Y.HARBOR” and craft beer made by Northern Alps brewery.
