HakubaIwatake / ○160cm / snowy & cloudy2019.Mar.24
The snow from dawn has brought new snow! It was cold in the morning when it got snowing by riding a strong north wind at the top of the ski area. In the middle and upper part of the snow field, the trees were dyed with fog and thin gas was occasionally applied, resulting in a fantastic atmosphere.
[East slope]
The snow is about 15 cm on the south slope where the piste enters in the snow well and cleans well. The board ran, so I was able to get in on the speed while enjoying the feel of the powder that was “funny”. The same was true for East slopes, and it was slippery, with fresh snow riding about 15 cm on a flat base that was tightened moderately.
[South slope]
At around 9 o’clock, the snow almost stopped and the wind settled, and the sun sometimes came in through the clouds. Sliding down the Shimoyama route, the wetness of the new snow increased from the second half of the Sunny Valley course, and the paradise slope was mokomoko.
[Shimoyama course]
However, I could hardly see the bush until yesterday, and I could slide down to Gondola Yamakoshi Station without damaging the board. By the way, the last business day of Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field is March 31 (Sun). It has been one week to leave!
