Today is the final day of Student Ski Competition (Demo Ski Division) and Women’s Group Acting(Free) started from 9 a.m. at the last part of Kamoshika Racing Course. Japan Women’s University Basic Ski Club A Ⅰ was 3rd place with 445 point in yesterday’s Women’s Group Acting (Compulsory). They earned 469 points in Group Acting (Free) and with 915 point in total, they became a champion in Group Acting!

It was drizzling from the early morning but it stopped at 9:50 a.m. when Men’s Group Acting (Free) started and also the sun started to shine through the clouds. The snow got melted very soft and some skiers tripped over a deep ski tracks. It became more difficult as time passes, last acting of Hokkaido University Demo Ski Club Ⅰ (1st place in Compulsory, 469 point, photo) attract spectators’ higher attentions.

After “472 point” was appeared in the electronic bulletin board, the victory of Hokkaido University Demo Ski Club Ⅰ was confirmed with total point of 941 (2nd place was Waseda University Zermatt Ski Club Ⅰ was 5 point behind with total point of 936). They explode in joy and hugged each other with teammates.

All the competition of Demo Ski Division was finished and now everyone is interested in who won the overall winner of ski club. A member of Last year’s Men’s Overall Champion, Shihshu University Demo Ski Club said, “We are in 2nd place until yesterday. We are 5th and 9th in Group Acting (Free). According to my calculations we should won the championship!” They posed us with joy! Note that, the champion will be announced officially at the closing ceremony start from 2:30 p.m..
