19022601_iwatakeWe started the final selection of ‘the 46th All Japan Iwatake Skiing Competition’! Most people are paying attentions to Zen Yamanoi, who is a member of Skiing Club of Health Sciences University of Hokkaido and aming at for crown (photo). Just before the start of the final selection, he gave us relax face.
[Two Top Course]
19022602_iwatake516 male players, including 216 at the top of the last competition and 300 clearing preliminaries, and 244 female players including 144 at the top of the last and 100 clearing preliminaries, challenged at the final selection. At the top of Two Top Course, as male ‘Parallel small turn’, Mr. Suda, who is a member of Kokushikan Edelweiss Skiing Club and won the first prize at the 44th freshman competition, performed great sliding. 19022603_iwatakeWe had female ‘General Sliding’ from 10:00 in Upburn. The condition of the burns were not good for speeding up with granular snow, but Ms. Ito, who cleared preliminaryA  at first, got points and cheers went up from the audience at the goal area.

19022604_iwatakeMr. Takahashi (photo), a member of Skiing Club of Hokkaido University of Education and cleared the preliminaryB at first, talked to us and went to the second sliding, “It was hard to get points.” By the way, the three events ‘Parallel Big Turn’, ‘Parallel Small Turn’ and ‘General Sliding’ will be held at the final tomorrow!
