Hakuba Iwatake / ◎190cm / Sunny2019.Feb.22
It was a gentle sunny day. The smell of fresh bread comes from HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR and we could enjoy the view of Ushirotateyama mountains including Japanese North Alps. All visitors took pictures at the deck.
[HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR]
The temperature had risen since the afternoon on Feb. 18th (Mon.) and has gone down gradually since the day before yesterday. There was hoarfrost lightly around the top of the mountain this morning. In South Slope and Discending Course fine granular snow was compacted to be hard. We could speed up on the flat burn.
[South Slope]
The surface of snow was brighter as the sunshine became stronger. Sawa Course had been groomed and hard for boards running on. The burns were good condition but there wer few people, so there were still a lot of traces of pistens around 9:00.
[Sawa Course]
The burns in Sunnyvalley Course were hard but it was easy to slide down with the granular snow as a cushion. Paradise Slope had muddy and solt corn snow. There were some ground color but we could still enjoy sliding down.
