“First Track Cat Tour” will begin tomorrow! We will meet at Gondola Sanroka Station at 6 am and head for the top by snowmobile. You can enjoy a test ride on the groomed slope. (※Booking is required. [South Slope]
It was cold as it was a peak season, however, there was no wind and nice. Accumulated dry snow was well-compacted by Pisten at the upper area of Snowfield. There was great powder snow and it made a squeaking sound when I slid down the course.
[Sawa Course]
I saw a skier, who came from Kanagawa City, Ishikawa, coming up by 4 Line East and leaving a beautiful track many times. Trees were covered with rime, and the air was clear and peaceful on the top. I felt good, surrounded by nature.
[East Slope]
Powder snow was nicely firm on Sunny Vally Course and Paradise Slope. It was really nice and I saw many people going up by Gondola especially in the morning. By the way, the skier’s right side of South Slope was unavailable as “Shinmaihai Soudatsu 2019 Hakuba Syonen Youth Sensyuken Taikai (Competition)” was being held.
