Iwatake/ ○180cm / Drizzle2018.Mar.22
I hoped that the condition of the ski slopes get better due to the snowfall in yesterday morning, but it was rainy this morning. However the rain became weak when the gondola opens. There was about 10 cm of new snow on the non-groomed area and 6 cm on groomed areas at the top of Snow Field.
[Gezan Course]
The new snow was containing a lot of rainwater, so it was heavy. And also the skis were not running and it was difficult to gain speed. There were only few visitors because it was a weekday and rainy. There were few ski tracks at South even at 8:45 a.m..
[South]
The groomed East was also covered with heavy new snow and the skis were not running. The guests from Kanagawa Pref. were also struggling to ride. It took a lot of time to check the ski courses, and North, Kamo4, SONEZAWA, DANGAN was not open even at 9 a.m..
[East]
There were people at Hilltop and Sawa Course, almost all guests rode down to Sunny Valley and Paradise and then went back by the gondola. At the upper part of Paradise was covered with 7 cm of new snow and the slope got many ups and downs. The lower part was groomed nicely soft and in corn snow condition.
[Paradise]
