Iwatake/ ◎220cm / Cloudy2018.Feb.08

18020801_iwatakeA little sunlight came through the clouds, spreading across the sky. There was no wind and it was a comfortable day. Tracks of pisten were left even around 10:00 a.m. on East, which was not crowded. The well-groomed slope was nicely soft and the edges worked well and I enjoyed turning again and again.
[East]
18020802_iwatakeDC Park, which faced north, remained in a good condition for a long time, although it was crowded. Some advanced skiers and snowboarders stood out, jumping high over Kicker.5m and Kicker.7m, which were located in the latter half of the slope.
[North]
18020803_iwatakeSouth was crowded with many people, including beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders. The slope was soft but a little bit rough. Members of demo ski club at Nanzan University in Aichi Pref. gave me the watchword, “we always enjoy your reports!”. “The 45th Student Ski Competition IWATAKE” will finally begin next week on Feb.13 (Tue), while “Demo Ski Division” will start on Feb.25 (Sun)!
[South]
18020804_iwatakeAlthough there were a bit ups and downs, White Ribbon Course was soft and nice. Meanwhile, Paradise was nicely firm and students were practicing hard.
